Hair stylists only please.?

I am having a very hard time growing my hair. I believe this is why. back in july of 2003 I had a total hysterectomy. Since then when I cut my hair, then after a few months try to grow it again it does not. Before this I would cut it, then when I wanted long hair again with in 2 months it would be shoulder lenght, now nothing. I have taken bioten, pre-natal vitamins, tried mane %26amp; tail %26amp; other products that I was told would help %26amp; nothing. If you can please help I would be greatly appreciated.

Hair stylists only please.?

try a menthol based shampoo, I suggest american crew ( i think its daily revitalising shampoo, i forget) The menthol in the shampoo or conditioner stimulates the hair follicle and encourages growth.

Hair stylists only please.?

eat a lot of green leaves and try hair oils....

Hair stylists only please.?

Your problem is probably the lack of hormones in your body from the hysterectomy.

Your hair is a by-product of your bodies health.

I would first see your doctor and have a hormone panel done. If you can take bio identical hormones to replace what is missing, you will see progress in your hair loss.

If this was a result of cancer, that may not be an option.

Is your diet healthy? You must eat protein and have a balanced diet high in B vitamins. B6, B4 and B12 (for stress).

Are you a smoker. Smoking cuts off oxygen to your system and could be a contributing factor. See a stylist. Understand you may not be able to have what you want with out using artifical means (hair extensions, pieces, etc).

Your hair may be reacting to stress. If you are having alot of anxiety about this, it will reflect in your hair.

Take care of yourself.
