Hair style problems?

I'm getting my hair cut on wed, i'm 16 and have quite long straight hair, past shoulders and it is also a sandy coloured blonde. I wanted my hair cut quite short, because i'm really sick of it. Could anyone suggest a hair style to suit me?

Hi I would recommend having it cut to about chin or just below and having layers put in as it will feel a lot lighter and free. You dont want to go short short coz if your use to having long hair you might not like it. Get them to style it around you face shape so it suits you.

How about a number one crop?

what about a choppy bob lots of people seem to be getting that done an it looks good especially as you are only 16 .

if your face shape suits (ask your hairdresser) you should get a striking short bob! maybe a geometric one, that goes as short as under your ears, but goes longer at the front. they are big this season and you are a perfect age to have one!!

i had hair past my shoulders and one day decided i was fed up and got a pixie cut - best thing i ever did, and i think if your brave you should go for it.

A flattering hair style really depends on which face shape you have. Here are 2 articles to help you determine your face shape and the best styles for each type. The first article has links to lots of photos. The 2nd article has specifics about face shapes w/ diagrams and recommendations.

What about a layered bob... so that its not just a blunt cut ... it has some depth to it and you can style it using sum gel or other products so it sticks out slighty ... i love that look i think it looks so cool... but i love my sleek straight hair too much to cut it that short for a while lol

Hair style problems?

just have it cut bits at a time so maby go to your shoulders first and then maybe (if you have guts) go alittle shorter
