okay, so my hair is about three inches past my knees and i can hardly do anything with it besides put it in a braid.

wut should i do. no, im not gonna cut it either cuz thats wut everyone says and its starting to get annoying. by the way, i have straight hair and it tangles easily

You might want to re-think cutting it. My hair was that long at one time, and then a friend was diagnosed with cancer, and lost her hair during chemotherapy. I cut my hair to about waist level and donated the cut hair to have a wig made for my friend. My hair was much healthier and easier to care for, style, etc. after that. Since then, I let my hair grow out really long, then every 5 years or so cut it back to waist length and donate the cut hair to make wigs for pediatric cancer patients - I believe the minimum length needed is 12 inches. Ask your salon, they usually know where to have it sent.

Dont cut it all off! you will regret it! I would feel so ugly and unattractive without long hair... But a little past your knees I do believe is WAY too long... You should cut some of it off to make it healthy and attractive looking and then that will give you something to do with it

It is tangling, first of all, because of its length. You need to cut it, but not short. Maybe to your butt, somewhere around there. Put it up, braid it, put it in a bun. $hit, you can do anything with hair like that!

OR u can perm it curly.. cut it into layers it can still be long.. maybe you should think about just making LONG layers so it wouldnt be short.. i know it gets annoying but it would styl be about the same length.. have fun with your hair. thats what i do..

Hair of that length is neither attractive nor hygeinic. There is nothing to do besides letting it hang there like a dead animal. When was the last time you saw a celebrity/model/society woman with hair that long? Never! Because it's NOT ATTRACTIVE!

If your hair is tangling you may want to consider some home made conditioners, they tend to work better than the store bought ones. As for styles, when your hair is long you open up many opportunities! You may say "just braiding" but braiding is an art form at that length! ^_^ I'll leave much links for extremely-long hair care and braiding advice in the "sources" place, okays?
