My hair is long, and is about 4 inches from my wasit. My hiar is very thick. The last time I got a major cut, it was right above my shoulders and was very puffy. I'm not sure if it'll still be like that, and I love my hair long, but I'm sick of it and I want to change it a lot. If I get my hair cut to the length I want it I won't reach the min. donation of 10 in. to donate and it will take a long time before I can grow it out again. What should I do??

When I had mine cut, I had 14 inches that got donated to Locks of Love. I ended up having it cut on the spur of the moment because I couldn't make up my mind either about doing it. I wanted a change but was nervous about it.

However, I had decided that the worst that could happen is that I'd have to let it grow out again and, in the meantime, I would have the much needed change. I wanted the change so would just make the best of it. Everything turned out fine.

yes i would i used to sit on my hair then i cut it off and gave to kids who need hair, it is the best thing you could do, always when i cut my hair off about shoulder length it was really puffy to but hey it will grow back, so anyway yes you should and i would recommend to tell your hair lady to use some thinnin shears on your hair, that helps a lot
