I have long hair too, goes down to my mid back..yours is still growing and gets annoying i know..but comb it or mess with it so it stays out of your face unless you want a haircut....for me when my hair got from my nose to my chin, that was the most annoying part....

buzz cut on the sides (not too short though, number 4 maybe) Longer on top and messy with gel. Looks funky but still well groomed.
